Oh Yeahhh!

As part of this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, LA Knight made his main roster debut as part of the show’s dark match, though it wasn’t exactly in the way that everyone would expect from the former Impact headliner. Knight emerged alongside the former Retribution member, Mace, acting as his manager for his match with Erik.

Mace would go on to win the match, LA Knight would then jump on the mic to confirm the beginnings of the Knight Model Management stable, of which Mace will become the first member. Knight donned a flashy blazer and some Air Jordans, really completing the new slick business-type gimmick. Mace was also sporting a new, flashier look as well, leaning away from his Mad Max style get-up which carried over from his Retribution days.

At the time of writing, it’s currently unknown as to whether or not WWE plan to bring in LA Knight as a manager full-time, or ever use him in the role of an in-ring performer. However, reports have stated previously that WWE see Knight as more of a mouthpiece than a wrestler, so it’s likely that he and his new stable will become more prominent on WWE television whenever the need for a new group arises.

I for one am intrigued by this newfound faction, especially with LA Knight at the helm. Knight is ahead of the curve when it comes to mic-skills and he could easily become the missing link for some wrestlers in terms of getting over. Pairing him with younger stars with the genuine presence and look to become a big deal might be the best decision they’ve made in a long time.
