Full List Of Dormant & Inactive WWE Championships

Relics of a bygone era.

The ultimate goal of any WWE superstar is to capture one of the prestigious championships that are regularly fought for on episodes of RAW, SmackDown Live or the monthly pay-per-views. However, over the years these championships have changed frequently, with some being removed completely from action and others evolving into a new, modern version of its former glory.

WWE maintain the titles’ respective lineages, celebrating their former champions and holding the current champions in high regard, however there are a few that have slipped through the cracks of history and have somehow been forgotten entirely.

Many of these forgotten, inactive championships were simply props that were handed between undercard wrestlers, in an attempt to get them over with the audience and help springboard them into better places on the card. However, there are also those that stood the test of time and helped forge the careers of many legendary Hall of Famers.

We have compiled a full list of inactive championships from WWE’s backlog below, as well as its last recognised champion(s).
