This doesn't suck.

WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Kurt Angle will make his Monday Night Raw return next week in Pittsburgh. The news dropped as part of this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, which also saw the triumphant return of NXT superstar Johnny Gargano.

There’s currently no word on what exactly Kurt Angle will be doing on next week’s RAW, but you can probably assume that it’s going to be linked to an ongoing feud, or perhaps even a return to his General Manager role.

Angle has made sporadic appearances for WWE since retiring in 2019, last being seen as part of John Cena’s 20th anniversary, where he appeared via video.

Prior to this, there was talk of Kurt Angle potentially being matched up with Matt Riddle as his on-screen manager. Even though it’s unlikely that they will throw Angle into the mix this late into the feud, there is a possibility that Angle could become involved within the ongoing rivalry between Seth Rollins and Riddle as part of next week’s RAW.

Either way, it’s very unlikely that Kurt Angle will be used in a wrestling capacity, considering his reluctance to return to the ring after his retirement and a slew of injuries that he sustained throughout his career. Regardless, it’ll be good to see the hometown hero returns to Pittsburgh for Monday night Raw, and will be yet another draw on top of the very hot product that’s being turned out on a weekly basis by Triple H.
