Prepare your chests, lads.

On this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Gunther’s next Intercontinental Championship challenger was confirmed in a brutal fatal-5-way between Sheamus, Sami Zayn, Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss and Ricochet. The Irishman reigned supreme in this instance, pinning Happy Corbin to score a huge match at the upcoming Clash at the Castle pay-per-view in Wales.

This will be the first time that Sheamus and Gunther meet in the squared circle and is bound to be a physically intense match. Both wrestlers champion a hard-hitting style, bringing that European strong-style to the mainstream platform. Gunther has been impressing lately with his IC title run, most recently defending against Shinsuke Nakamura in a critically-acclaimed main-event.

With this taking place in front of a bloodthirsty UK audience, we suspect that both men will go the extra mile to make this a match to remember, not only for the sake of their own careers but also to add some prestige to the Intercontinental Championship, which seems to be the general mission statement since Triple H has taken the helm.

Be ready everybody, we’ve got a potential show-stealer on our hands.
