King Of The Ring 2019: Full List Of Competitors

We all need a bit of King Corbin in our lives.

As announced last night on RAW, the King of the Ring tournament will be making its return for the second time since 2010. Last time, we saw Bad News Barrett defeat Neville in the finals on the WWE Network to claim the crown and the infamous ‘king’ gimmick. Some of WWE’s biggest and brightest have sported the robes and have benefited from that little extra boost into the main event and championship pictures; Brock Lesnar, Booker T, Edge and Kurt Angle, all superstars that have helped forge a historic hall of KOTR winners throughout the years.

This year’s line-up features 16 superstars from both RAW and SmackDown Live, all of which will be vying in single-elimination matches over the next few weeks to determine who will be sitting upon the throne and finding themselves with a world championship shot in the near future. Plenty of these names could do with that extra leg-up into the next stage of their careers, a win at the finals, or even just a stellar performance could be enough to put them in the conversation for being the next big thing.

Below is the list of names included as part of the video package played on Monday Night Raw, of course some of these could be subject to change, but for now we can revel in what looks to be one of the most exciting tournament line-ups WWE has ever produced:

RAW Superstars

  • Ricochet
  • The Miz
  • Cedric Alexander
  • Drew McIntyre
  • Cesaro
  • Sami Zayn
  • Baron Corbin
  • Samoa Joe

SmackDown Superstars

  • Elias
  • Kevin Owens
  • Chad Gable
  • Andrade
  • Shelton Benjamin
  • Buddy Murphy
  • Ali
  • Apollo Crews

Overall, this is a really impressive bunch of WWE superstars. All mid-carders who have the potential to break-through into the main event scene and have some incredible matches in the process.
