Kane Returns On WWE Raw, Confirmed For Survivor Series

WWE Raw

It’s been awhile since I’ve chosen to take three hours out of my day to sit down and watch a full episode of Monday Night Raw. Is this something I’m particularly proud of? No it’s not. I’d love to be able to feel the hype every week and cram in as much WWE as I possibly can, but sometimes there’s just not enough drawing me in. This is an issue that most of us wrestling fans face these days, not because the programming is going through a slump, but purely because it amounts to nothing, seeing as there’s a PPV they’re building to a mere two weeks away. This week’s, however, was very different.

I woke up this morning to the news of The Big Red Monster making his surprise comeback on last night’s episode, joining The Miz, Braun Strowman and The Bar to face The Shield at TLC. It seems that Kane’s hiatus was spent loitering underneath the ring, waiting for an ideal cage match to interfere in. Kane rose through the canvas and brutalised the man that retired his brother at Wrestlemania, siding with the anti-Shield. He also has a badass new theme.

Kane’s stock isn’t exactly at its peak with the fans, after becoming somewhat of a stale presence on Smackdown Live. But I for one am very excited to see him return to active duty, even if it is only to put Roman and pals over.

The man behind the mask has been very busy as of late campaigning for mayorship in Knoxville TN, for him to take some time out and get back on the road is something to admire.
