When the world is over, modders will be the ones to revitalise it. We’ve seen countless examples of them breathing life into older, less “complete” games, and that’s exactly what Nanos GbR have done with Just Cause 3.
Coming out of beta next week, the ingeniously named Multiplayer Mod for Avalanche Studios’ flawed mayhem simulator will allow hundreds of players to effectively piss about with each other, exploding everything they see. The beta has been available since January, but the true Steam release comes on 20th July.

Just Cause has a good history of mod support, so here’s hoping this one sticks around for long enough to see how close they can get to just straight up breaking the entire game for everyone forever.
Now if only someone could make the console versions Just Cause 3 not run like emphysemic donkeys.
