Jurassic World 3 Title Revealed as Director Shares First Set Photo

Are you ready for the dominion that awaits?

Colin Trevorrow, director of Jurassic World 3, or now known as Jurassic World: Dominion, took to twitter to share the first set photo, marking the start of filming.

He has been keeping fans in the loop regarding the preparations for the film, sharing with us an image of a baby dinosaur puppet earlier on in the month (I’m not a fan of dinosaurs, but that’s some cute stuff).

As of now, what we can gather from the recent set image is that the setting of the film seems to be in some snow-covered climate, which is certainly a turn from the usual lush greenery we get in these dinosaur films. Are dinosaurs in the snow even possible? Maybe Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard’s characters are on some ski holiday or something.

Oh yes, Pratt and Howard will resume their roles, and other supporting stars like Jake Johnson and Omar Sy will be back, as well as Justice Smith and Daniella Pineda. The original trio of Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum will also be returning for this film. According to Pratt in a recent interview, Jurassic World: Dominion is truly the Avengers: Endgame of the Jurassic Park franchise, especially if you consider the star power attached to it.

Jurassic World: Dominion is scheduled to arrive in theaters June 11, 2021. Guess we will have to wait a while for the dominion to take place.
