Jotun: Valhalla Edition Coming to PS4 and Xbox One Next Month

Jotun

Announced during E3 2016 for the Wii U, Jotun: Valhalla Edition takes what made the original game so great and adds rocket boosters to it. Following its hyped reveal for Wii U, the ultimate Jotun experience from Thunder Lotus Games will also now be coming to PS4 and Xbox One next month too.

Jotun: Valhalla Edition will include a new Valhalla mode, which is New Game+ for people who hate themselves and want an even bigger challenge with boss rushes – it’s not going to be a walk in the park. A scoring system will also be introduced to help you keep track of how you’re getting on.

According to the press release:

“Jotun: Valhalla Edition will be released on the Wii Uâ„¢ system on September 8th, while the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One versions will launch the next day, on September 9th. The game will be released as a free update to the PC/Mac/Linux versions on September 9th as well. The title will retail at $14.99 USD on all platforms, and is already available for digital pre-order and pre-download on Xbox One.”

Created by an ex-mobile game developer, Jotun is a Kickstarter-funded effort that sees you trying to impress the Viking gods with your might. Writing this made my biceps grow to twice the girth and my face to suddenly sprout a beard. That’s weird, how did a flagon get in my hand?
