Joe Quesada Reveals Stunning Daredevil Season Three Artwork

Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada created a stunning piece of promotional art for the upcoming third season of Daredevil, which he shared on his official Twitter account.

The image, which shows Daredevil leaping from a rooftop, was largely decorated with blood red, which seems appropriate for a show with a TV-MA rating. The color scheme will also no doubt signify the vast amount of injuries our hero will be inflicting upon lawbreakers throughout the upcoming season.

In addition to being an acclaimed illustrator and serving as Marvel’s current Chief Creative Officer, Quesada was also the publisher’s editor-in-chief from 2000 to 2010. He has a long history of drawing Daredevil covers and even created promo art pieces for the first two seasons of the show, so it’s only fitting that he should return for the third season.

Quesada serves as an executive producer on Daredevil, which stars Charlie Cox as the blind lawyer-turned-vigilante. The third season of the MCU TV series will see Matt Murdoch recovering in a convent after being badly injured at the end of The Defenders, where he is reunited with his mother, who has become a nun known as Sister Maggie. He’ll also have to deal with the trial of the notorious criminal Wilson Fisk, who he put behind bars all the way back in season one. And whilst we still don’t know when the third season will make its way onto Netflix, Quesada’s art is still enough to get fans hyped.
