505 Games have announced that Death Stranding will be launching on PC on June 2nd, and it’ll be launching on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Furthermore, the PC port will include content from Valve’s Half-Life, such as a headcrab helmet for protagonist Sam. Check out the trailer below.
Headcrabs aren’t the only thing arriving in the Death Stranding PC port, as the game will include new features such as a photo mode, along with support for higher framerates and ultra-wide monitors. Of course, it’ll also include Half-Life content, and you can be excited for the inevitable wave of mods that’ll drop when the game launches on PC. Get ready to see an anime girl deliver packages across a post-apocalyptic wasteland, or the old favourite Thomas the Tank Engine.
Purchasing the game will also include a selection from the digital book “The Art of Death Stranding”, along with the Expanded Version of the Original Score digital soundtrack, which includes 10 previously unreleased tracks. There’s also a host of cosmetic content for you to get your hands on, especially if you pre-order now. Are you going to be playing Death Stranding on PC? Sound off in the comments.
