Hello Neighbor Looks Like The Next Big Horror Game

Xbox Game Pass

I’ll forgive you for not having heard of tinyBuild Games. Founded in 2011, the indie publisher has given us a few sleeper hits over the years, including Mr. Shifty and Party Hard, but nothing so far has really bought them into the mainstream.

That could all be about to change with the release of their upcoming survival horror title Hello Neighbor. Developed by Dynamic Pixels, the survival horror game features beautiful Pixar-inspired visuals and has you investigating sinister goings on in your neighbor’s house across the street.

Despite the fact that its Kickstarter campaign reached only $12,809 of its $100,000 goal, Hello Neighbor is still a game destined to be a huge financial hit. How do I know this, you ask? Because videos of the game on YouTube have amassed a staggering total of over 600 million views. If those numbers are any indication, we probably have a big hit on our hands. Clearly, both the gaming community and the general public have invested a huge interest in Hello Neighbor. So much so, in fact, that tinyBuild even recruited licensing agent Evolution to produce Hello Neighbor-themed merchandise, including toys, apparel and accessories. Looks like we’re gonna be seeing a lot more of those Pixar-style characters as Hello Neighbor approaches release on PC later this year. In the meantime, you can stay updated on its official website.
