Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Is Getting A Photo Mode For PS4 and PC

Hellblade

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, the long in development spiritual successor to Heavenly Sword, has stood out for many because of how damn pretty it is. Considering its unusual status as an indie produced at AAA production values, its visuals are just that much more impressive.

As is the norm for games that essentially beg you to share screenshots to Instagram of sumptuous vistas and action shots, Hellblade will be getting its own Photo Mode when it launches.

Check out some images using the mode that developers Ninja Theory have captured:

The mode will come with all kinds of bells and whistles to help you tweak your next Facebook cover photo to perfection, including camera pan and roll, focal distance, and colour grading. It sounds quite similar to Horizon: Zero Dawn, which pretty much perfected in-game photography.

It’s looking good, but there are no filters that will distract from the fact that Hellblade is going to be a heavy game. Revolving around the mental toils of its protagonist, Senua, it’s shaping up to be a harrowing trip to the time of the Vikings when it launches in digital format only on August 8th for PS4 and PC.
