Halloween Photos Reveal Michael Myers’ New Look

Halloween 2018 1

Modern horror maestro Jason Blum has just given us our first look at Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. He shared a link to a USA Today article, in which these onset photos were initially revealed. This comes just in time for the teaser trailer’s release on June 8th.

Since Jamie Lee Curtis appeared at CinemaCon to show off the trailer to a lucky crowd, the internet has been swarming with antsy people (myself included) who eagerly await the film’s teaser trailer. Not a whole lot is known about the film just yet, but if these photos are to be believed, I think there might be some pretty cool marketing for this film after all.

Curtis has been quoted as saying,“I recognize that it will be my biggest contribution,” Curtis says. “Despite writing books for children, all of my advocacy, all of my politics, all of my own personal journey, my legacy will be Halloween.”

The upcoming film changes the ending of the original to fit with the story they’re aiming to tell. It seems Michael has been caught and is locked away, bringing us to the new story forty years later. While Director David Gordon Green will be reshooting the film’s ending on June 11th, it’s likely we may still be getting the same trailer shown at CinemaCon.

Michael Myers, pictured above, is likely played by James Jude Courtney. There has been no clear indication that what we’re seeing is Nick Castle. The mask looks great. The eye holes and the lines by it are almost exactly like the ones on the original. The photos are courtesy of Ryan Green.

Halloween also stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Miles Robbins, Virginia Gardner, Dylan Arnold, Rhian Rees and Omar Dorsey. It will be distributed by Universal Pictures (the company that distributed Halloween 2 and Halloween 3: Season of the Witch) Michael Myers returns home on October 19th.
