Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition Coming To The Switch

More fighting games on the Switch? Sound.

Guilty Gear

PQube Games have announced that they will be bringing the Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition to the Nintendo Switch, with a release date penciled in for May 17th. Check out the announcement trailer below.

The Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Pack will include the original Guilty Gear, along with GUILTY GEAR XX ΛCORE PLUS R. Side note: what is it with Japanese fighting games and big dumb names? Anyway, the physical release of the pack will also include artbook containing unreleased work from designer Daisuke Ishiwatari, along with a personal letter from the man himself.

If you’re more of a digital gamer, both games will be available to download separately on the Nintendo Switch, while the original game will also be launching on the PS4 on May 17th. Are you excited to revisit Guilty Gear’s history? Sound off in the comments.
