It seems like it was a day and age since we last saw any new Game of Thrones. Considering how the last season concluded, it’s been one of the most agonising waits any fandom has had to endure.
Even though it hardly sets the mind alight with new information or, well, anything, the new teaser trailer for season 6 of Game of Thrones has certainly raised a few eyebrows.
The short, mysterious clip takes us into the Hall Of Faces in the House Of Black And White: where we last saw Arya Stark. We’re taken through a gruesome cavalcade of the deceased characters from the show, including Ned Stark whose death, even after all these years, still brings the feels.
The teaser concludes with some monologue from a certain Snow before revealing the faces of almost every character. Surely they won’t be killing all of them off? The showrunners really hate the emotions of the fans, but at least Tyrion must be safe, right? RIGHT?!
Season 6 will be the first season of Game of Thrones that book readers won’t be able to lord it over series newcomers with their superior intellect and ability to sit down and read thousands and thousands of pages. The TV series has overtaken the timeline in the books, so who knows what might happen when the new series begins on April 25th.
