Fortnite Season 8: Use A Volcano Vent, Zipline & Vehicle In The Same Match

Keep on ballin'.

The Baller Fortnite

Week 5 of Season 8 has dropped and with it comes a mobility style challenge that asks you to use a zipline, Volcano Vent and a ‘vehicle’ in the same match. This is a fairly simple challenge to get done if you plan out your route.

The vehicle used can be of your choosing, which means The Baller is your best option here. It completely protects you from damage while it’s still intact, has numerous spawn locations and has vertical mobility helping you reach ziplines. You’ll find ziplines near elevated locations, usually leading you up a mountain or connecting two mountains. They’re very easily spottable as they tend to be up high.

Volcano Vents are very heavily present in the northeast jungle biome, littering the area.

The best strategy for getting this done is to land at a Baller spawn location first, preferably one in the jungle. Then drive it to the closest Volcano Vent or zipline (whichever you come by first), then proceed to the final one you’re missing either via your glider or your Baller.

Below is a map that has The Baller spawns circled in red.

As you can see, the jungle has a large amount of Baller spawns, which is convenient due to the fact Volcano Vents spawn aplenty here.

I’d recommend landing near the jungle spawns, more specifically the one that spawns at J3 on the main map’s grid. The first reason is it spawns multiple Ballers so if you have competition you can usually get away with one without too much hassle. The second is that there are numerous Volcano Vents nearby. After that, there is an abundance of ziplines in the general area you can make use of to finish up the challenge, landing directly on them after deploying your glider from the Volcano Vent.

That’s all there is to this challenge, it should only take a game or two to knock it out depending on how aggressive people are as you zoom past on your Baller. Other challenges this week are also travel centric, including: Getting three eliminations at Pirate Camps, restoring 50 shields with Mushrooms and searching seven chests in Paradise Palms or Shifty Shafts. All-in-all, the challenges this week aren’t overly involved, but a lot them require travelling around the map, so be prepared to spend a few games moving around the map.
