With Season 8 (and Chapter 2 along with it) winding down, Epic has once again made a Fortnite season overtime feel a little more interesting with a special event of sorts: Strike From The Shadows.

More or less a continuation of what Wild Weeks started, Strike From The Shadows is a seasonally themed overtime that plays fast and loose with items and loot spawns to freshen up the season as it nears its end.

In Strike From The Shadows, which is seemingly inspired by the massively popular Naruto crossover of the season, players will be able to find Paper Bomb Kunai and Shadow Stones far more frequently across the map.

As well as that, players will also find Shadow Floppers more commonly, even on land as well as in water.

Strike From The Shadows won’t be available in competitive playlists, where the loot pool will stay normal.

Are There Strike From The Shadows Rewards?

No, there are no rewards for taking part in Strike From The Shadows. It’s not an event in the traditional sense.

However, players can complete the Strike From The Shadows Punchcard to farm XP to put towards their Battle Pass progression if they haven’t yet maxed it out.

When Does Strike From The Shadows End?

Strike From The Shadows runs from 9 AM ET on November 23rd, 2021 to 9 AM ET on November 30th, 2021, giving players a few more days until the end of Season 8.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
