Fortnite Mobile Coming To Android This Summer

It’s not quite as good as a set release date, but now we know the window in which Fortnite Mobile will be dropping for Android.

In an update on the Fortnite blog, Epic Games went through a whole host of changes coming soon to the mobile version of the game. These tweaks include changes to the HUD, performance, and the possibility of adding voice chat at some point in the future.

However, all eyes were on the post to see if Epic Games would bring updates for Fortnite Mobile on Android, and it was a fairly non-committal response.

“Fortnite is coming to Android!

“We are targeting this summer for the release. We know many of you are excited for this release, and we promise that when we have more information to share, you’ll hear it from us first.”

Considering that we are now effectively in summer, the wait isn’t going to be that much longer for Android users. It’s worth mentioning that they said they are targeting summer, which gives them some leeway in case they need to push it back.

Fortnite Mobile offers almost the same game as its console and PC counterparts, just slightly potato-er. It’s currently only available on iOS devices.
