Fortnite Now Has A Fully Customisable Skin (UPDATED)

One of the most requested features in Fortnite history has been the ability to customise your skins. Now, with the launch of Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2, it looks like players will be able to customise a specific skin almost any way they want.

Maya is included as part of the Battle Pass with the skin showing plenty of variants in the Battle Pass trailer for the new season.

In the trailer, Maya wears an array of different styles, including casual, fisherman, spy and much, much more. According to the trailer, she has a possibility of 3.8 million looks, which is a crazy amount, though we don’t know if that’s true.

Though we don’t know the exact depth of customisation at this time of writing, leaker xkleinmikex has had a closer look at the skin’s specific parts.

They also shared all of Maya’s different styles and accessories, though we feel there may be more that unlock over the course of the season or are added as time goes on.

As always, the Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2 Battle Pass will set you back 950 V-Bucks. We will update this with more on Maya as we get it.

What this means for the future of Fortnite skins is certainly fascinating; you’d have to imagine that Epic will also be adding a male variant for Maya at some point in the future.

Will they be selling additional cosmetics for the skin, or will they be added for free? It’s also quite brave of them (in a sense) to give out such a requested feature as part of the Battle Pass. Millions will now be playing as Maya, presumably without the need to buy a new skin as they already have one they can fully customise.
