Fortnite‘s seventh week of Battle Pass challenges is upon us, and it’s fair to say that they are far more interesting than what we were asked to do last week. One of the challenges, Destroy Cobwebs At The Authority, asks you to a largely forgotten POI.
Since the start of Season 4, The Authority has laid dormant with neither Shadow or Ghost anywhere to be seen. The secret agent storyline seems to be over, at least for now, and the headquarters have been collecting dust with nobody around to maintain it.
What that means is you have a challenge to complete. Here’s how to Destroy Cobwebs At The Authority in Fortnite: Season 4.
The Authority Cobweb Locations
There are actually around a dozen cobwebs in The Authority you can destroy, but you only need to destroy three. For that reason, we suggest landing and going through the vent pictured above.
Once through, you can find all three cobwebs you need within meters of each other. The first is between a doorway on the left side of the vault.
The second is within the vault itself, which is has been open since the start of Season 4.
The third and final cobweb can be found on the right side as you leave the vault, high up in the corner.
If someone else lands here with you, simply go up the stairs from The Authority lobby and you will find one on each floor. We recommend that you drop at the vault if you want to get this challenge dusted off quickly and get 25,000 very easy XP.
There have actually been rumours that SHIELD will be taking over The Authority at some point in Season 4 with Nick Fury becoming a boss character, as well as the helicarrier hovering over The Authority. The fact that there’s a challenge within The Agency might pour cold water on that theory, but who knows.
It looks like Midas may also be returning to Fortnite sometime down the line after being gobbled up by a shark at the start of Season 3, if his appearance in the Last Laugh Bundle is anything to go by. Shadow vs. Ghost vs. SHIELD in Season 5?
