Fortnite: How To Get The Deathstroke Skin For Free

You may need a stroke of luck.

While it maybe hasn’t been as in your face as the Marvel season, Season 6 of Fortnite has basically been a DC season, what with the constant crossovers with Batman and the Zero Point comics. As has been speculated, Deathstroke will be coming to Fortnite as a skin — and you can get him for free.

Just like countless other crossovers, you will be able to compete in a tournament to unlock the skin before it officially releases in the Item Shop on June 1st. This time out, you will have to place well in the Deathstroke Zero Cup, which is a Solo tournament — there will be nobody to cover you.

Here’s everything you need to know to get the Deathstroke Zero Fortnite skin for free, as well as his Back Bling and Pickaxe, in the Deathstroke Zero Cup.

When Does The Deathstroke Cup Take Place?

The Deathstroke Zero Cup will take place on May 27th, 2021, a full four days before Deathstroke Zero will hit the Item Shop.

As for what time it kicks off, times will vary per region, so be sure to log in early and check the Compete tab in your Fortnite lobby to see what time the Deathstroke Zero Cup begins in your region.

Will Deathstroke Zero Come To The Item Shop?

If you don’t manage to unlock Deathstroke over the course of the tournament, he will luckily also come to the Item Shop on June 1st, 2021.

Based on previous crossover skins, the Deathstroke skin on its own will likely cost you 1500 V-Bucks, but you will also be able to buy the full bundle with the Back Bling and Pickaxe for closer to 3000 V-Bucks.

As for how long Deathstroke will be in the Item Shop, these collaborations tend to last for at least a week if not longer. We wouldn’t be surprised to see him last until the end of the season — there isn’t long left now, after all.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
