Fortnite: How To Customise Your Own Superhero

Shut up, crime.

As part of the v14.10 update, Fortnite is getting new superhero skins in the Item Shop. These aren’t Marvel skins, though — these are superhero skins that you can customise with many different variants.

You are able to choose from many different base versions of the superhero skins, ranging from Hunter to Joltara, if you purchase the Boundless set. Each of them are mainly just different facially and in terms of whether they are male or female.

The new superhero skins work a lot like the soccer skins in that you can make changes to their styles constantly. This is different in comparison to Maya, whose styles you couldn’t change after making a selection.

There are actually a lot of things to change about your superhero, including hairstyle and if you want a mask or not. There are seven things to customise in total, the most interesting being the ability to use an emoticon from your locker as a symbol on the front of your superhero.

To customise your superhero, all you need to is go into your Locker once you have purchased the skin and then follow the prompt to change the style, just like you would any other skin with multiple styles.

Once that’s done, confirm it all and select save and exit and you have your very own superhero skin in Fortnite.

As for when the superhero skins will be dropping in Fortnite itself, you can expect them to be available very soon with the release of Stark Industries. In terms of price, we expect them to cost 2000 V-Bucks.

This is a very cool addition by Epic; you have to love the attention to detail and the crazy range of customisation options. Sure, your skin won’t stop you from getting absolutely dunked on by better players, but at least you looked heroic while returning to the lobby.

Fortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 4 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
