For those who were just getting used to the OG map all over again, it’s time for another huge change with the launch of Chapter 5, which once again gives the Fortnite island a major overhaul. The map for Chapter 5 has a lot of work to do to match the iconic status of the first map, but it’s already looking pretty promising.

And here it is with some of the POIs filled in:

The names of the POIs in Season 1:

  • Classy Courts
  • Fencing Fields
  • Grand Glacier
  • Hazy Hillside
  • Lavish Lair
  • Pleasant Piazza
  • Rebel’s Roost
  • Reckless Railways
  • Ritzy Riviera
  • Ruined reels
  • Snooty Steppes

The most obvious note about the Chapter 5 map is how much it’s covered in snow, which is likely to melt over the course of the season. It’s also interesting how divided it feels, with many of its area being separated by bridges. Really, it feels like a collection of little islands than one big island. It also feels like Reckless Railways and Ruined Reels are going to be absolutely chaos as the two most central spots on the map.

Here is a closer look at some of the new POIs on the map too:

We’re not entirely sure what some of the landmarks will be called, but we will update this when we know for sure alongside any of the other cool secrets that the brand new map is hiding. What’s your favourite spot?

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
