When Is The Fortnite: Chapter 3 – Season 1 Event?

Fortnite Chapter 3

Fortnite: Chapter 3 – Season 1 will no doubt go down as one of the best Fortnite seasons ever, with so much content and a new map really revitalising the game. All good things must come to an end, though, so it’s time to look forward to the Season 1 event to close off the last few months of Forntite, as is tradition.

However, if you’re wondering when the Fortnite: Chapter 3 – Season 1 event takes place, the answer is that there will be no event to end Season 1 of Chapter 3.

As of right now, there are no event files in the game. Event files are always a sign that there’s a Fortnite event coming, yet with the game now in V19.40, there are none of these files.

On top of that, if there was an event coming, Epic would make quite a big fuss over it with them starting to promote the build-up it, but there’s been none of that at all. Unless something drastically changes, there will be no update for Chapter 3 – Season 1.

This isn’t the first time a season hasn’t ended with an event, of course. The early days of Chapter 1 didn’t have one, and events were very on and off in the earliest seasons of Chapter 2. There will most likely be an event in Season 2 of Chapter 3 though, with IO now making major plays on the flip side of the island.

When Does Chapter 3 – Season 1 End?

Season 1 is currently scheduled to end on March 19th, 2022. As there isn’t an event, Season 2 should begin on that same day after a few hours of downtime.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
