Fortnite: How To Archive Cosmetics & Skins

Fortnite has a whole lot of skins and cosmetics, almost so many that it becomes impossible to go through them all after a while. Knowing this, Epic has added something unique with v21.30, the ability to archive your cosmetics.

Archiving cosmetics in Fortnite is basically a way of putting them into a category of items that you no longer want to appear in your locker, though they will still be seen if you have them enabled in any presets. Archiving a cosmetic does not mean that they are deleted or removed, you will still own them and be able to use them.

To archive a cosmetic, go to your locker then hold L3 or Z. You can now select multiple items that you want to archive, then confirm to archive them. They will now be moved out of your default locker and into the archive.

To access your archive, select Sort + Filter, then scroll down to Filter By – Archived, which should be right at the bottom. You can now unarchive anything that you want to move back to your locker by holding L3 or Z.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
