Fist of the North Star To Launch In The West As A PS4 Exclusive

Fist of the North Star

It’s been a long road, people. Well, a couple of months really, but SEGA have announced that they’ll be bringing their Fist of the North Star game to the West this October, under the name Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise.

Releasing on October 2nd in North America and Europe, Lost Paradise will see you control series mainstay and ultimate badass Kenshiro in a completely original story. Players will be able to ride around the post apocalyptic wastelands in a customisable buggy and tear through punks with Kenshiro’s signature Hokuto Shinken fighting style.

“From Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, the development team behind the acclaimed Yakuza series, Lost Paradise is a high-intensity action-adventure RPG based within the world of the beloved Fist of the North Star manga. Players take control of Kenshiro as they progress through an alternate universe of the original story, explore the post-apocalyptic wastes of the Earth in a customizable buggy, and tear through groups of thugs using Kenshiro’s signature Hokuto Shinken techniques.”

Unlike the Yakuza games, this localisation will come with full English voice acting, but fans will probably keep it on Japanese just to hear Kenshiro say “omae wa mou shindeiru”, like he constantly does in the anime and manga.

Check out the announcement trailer and screenshots below, and get hyped for the return of one of anime’s biggest legends.
