First Subtitled Attack On Titan Movie Trailer Released

Attack on Titan

It was about a month ago that I sat down (sprawled myself across my couch like a giraffe) and watched the entire first season of Attack on Titan, coincidentally the first anime I had ever watched. I had a pretty damn good time, even if it was a little melodramatic at points for my British tastes.

So, when the first trailer for the live-action adaptation was released, I was excited and confused because, you know…it was completely in Japanese. As cool as it is to look at big bastard CGI bastards bugger each other up, it’s always nice to be able to understand what’s going on too.

Thanks to IGN, who took time out of their busy day of adding extra points to games that don’t deserve it, we now have a version with subtitles. It adds a lot more to the experience and certainly adds a lot more fuel to my excitement, even though my inner cynic wants to go against it. We can all agree that it’s probably for the best that this isn’t a trailer for the inevitable Western remake, though.

NOBODY TELL MICHAEL BAY ATTACK ON TITAN EXISTS.
