Fire Emblem Warriors Slicing Onto Nintendo Switch

It almost seems like a requirement for every popular Japanese fantasy franchise to receive a Dynasty Warriors collaboration. One Piece, The Legend of Zelda, Berserk, Dragon Quest, and now Fire Emblem.

Yup, it was announced at Nintendo’s Switch presentation that their 4+ million selling fantasy RPG series will be getting the Dynasty Warriors treatment courtesy of developers Omega Force and Team Ninja, who also handled Hyrule Warriors.

Titled Fire Emblem Warriors, the announcement trailer was only 55 seconds long and showed little other than the game’s logo. But I think it’s safe to say that this is basically gonna be a clone of Hyrule Warriors, only with Fire Emblem characters instead of Zelda ones.

And that’s a good thing, I guess. I mean, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and Fire Emblem and Dynasty Warriors are both popular in Japan, so it’s gonna do well over there regardless. Even if people get sore thumbs from constant button mashing as they mow down wave upon wave of enemies.
