Final Names For WWE UK Championship Tournament 2018 Announced

WWE has revealed the final eight competitors in the second-ever WWE United Kingdom tournament, mixing some old and new faces amongst some of the best stars the UK has to offer.

James Drake
Tyson T-Bone

Returning from the inaugral tournament are Jordan Devlin, Tucker, James Drake and Tyson T-Bone.

The newer faces include ‘Flash’ Morgan Webster, who made his WWE debut on 205 Live this past week, teaming up with Mustafa Ali and Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander in a six-man tag match.

Speaking of 205 Live, Drew Gulak, a regular feature of the purple brand, will also be entering the tournament.

Ashton Smith will be familiar to fans of Insane Chanpionship Wrestling and had even appeared previously on ITV’s World of Sport revival.

Rounding out the final eight is ‘The Kiwi Buzzsaw’ Travis Banks. Banks is the current Progress Champion and certain to be one of the favouites to go the distance when the tournament kicks-off next month.

The tournament brackets have yet to be decided, but it was recently revealed that the first round will take place at the Download Music Festival, as part of WWE NXT’s time there.
