Nintendo have announced that the last major update for the popular Super Mario Maker 2 will be launching tomorrow, bringing with it a host of new content and creation tools, chief among them being the World Maker mode. Check out the reveal trailer below.
World Maker will let players essentially create their own Super Mario game, as they’ll be to create a route with multiple courses, customising the look of the path and surrounding world along with it. Players will be able to create a series of 8 worlds with up to 40 courses that can be shared online with other players, so if you’re big on creating your own levels, this seems like the perfect way to flex those muscles.
Other content updates coming to Super Mario Maker 2 in tomorrow’s update include the Koopaling mini-bosses, the Mechakoopa enemies, the cursed key item that sees the carrier chased by the dreaded Phanto, power-ups like the SMB2 Mushroom and 5 brand new wearables. Will you be playing Super Mario Maker 2 when this final major update drops? Let us know in the comments.
