Square Enix have lifted the lid once again on the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI, the latest instalment in their long-running RPG series. The new trailer showcases more gameplay than ever before, along with the reveal that the game is set to launch on PS5 in summer 2023. Check out the trailer for yourself at the top of the page.
The trailer gives us the best look yet at Final Fantasy XVI’s combat, which looks to be more action-focused than even Final Fantasy XV or FF7 Remake. We also get to see some of the game’s summons, which look to be a huge devastating presence. If you’ve been waiting for Final Fantasy to take on a darker theme and world, this sixteenth entry might be the game for you.
