It’s another new month, which means another month of PlayStation Plus offerings on PS4 and PS5 that nobody will agree with. We have sports, curses, and Vikings to look forward to next month, if the leaks from the always reliable Dealabs are anything to go by.

FIFA 22 (PS4, PS5) is by far and away the biggest game to come next month on PS Plus, the annual sports game being among the most popular releases in the gaming world. While a pretty safe year for FIFA, it’s been fairly well received by fans, though the fact that it will be added to EA Play before too long anyway takes a lot of shine off its release on PlayStation Plus.

Next up is Tribes of Midgard (PS4, PS5), a Viking survival game that came out hot on the heels of the smash hit that was Valheim and carved out an audience of its own. Not the most refined game of all time, but some good isometric fun if you have some friends for co-op. It even has co-op support for ten players, if you have ten friends (I do not).

Lastly, Curse of the Dead Gods is a hard as nails roguelite dungeon crawler with a unique twist: every time you descend through the temple, you get a curse that can change everything. A lot of Curse of the Dead Gods honestly comes down to luck and perseverance, so it certainly isn’t for everyone. Stick with it, though, and you might be cursing yourself for not playing it sooner.

If the leak does come fruition, the May 2022 PS Plus games will be available from May 3rd, 2022, the first Tuesday of the month. If you’re unhappy with this month’s offerings, you can always cancel PS Plus, though bear in mind that June will see a huge overhaul for Plus in general.
