Fallout 76 Now Has a Whimsical Live Action Trailer

In an unexpected turn of events, Fallout 76 now has a live action trailer. It’s almost nothing like you’d expect from a Fallout trailer, and seems to have very little to do with the usual feel of the franchise. Blasting “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” by the Beach Boys while the trailer starts off with fantastic green fields bathed in golden light as a Vault Dweller spins in slow motion, shooting everything in a 50 feet radius. A nightmarish hellscape where two brutes in power armours are mowing down everything in sight, an overgrown jungle where a group of vault dwellers are carefully wondering, and a good old broken down garage and a Deathclaw. To finish all the different characters gather to look at a nuclear explosion in the distance.

It’s safe to say that if the game has that much of a visual disparity in the different locations, it’ll make for a much more interesting game than Fallout 4. However, as trailers and teasers often are, it’s very likely that this is extremely exaggerated. If you want to look at the trailer and see exactly how over the top it is, for yourself.

Fallout 76 releases on November 14, 2018 for PC, PS4, XBO, but if you don’t want to wait until then, there will still be four B.E.T.A.s over the next week.
