Another brilliant tune from top of the scene producer Wonderland, who draws together the talents of equals BRAVE and Lido into a slick and emotional release packed with wonderous sounds and an atmosphere to die for; the kind of track that offers a refreshing change of pace from many of today’s fast paced and hectic tracks. Lido’s voice is so well suited for this production and Alison even jumps onto the vocals in the final moments to conclude this impactfully gorgeous tune that combines smooth lyricism with powerful basslines.
Breaux – Leviathan
Speaking of hectic, master of festival trap Breaux comes through with another twist on his iconic, heart stopping sound. Flipping between trap and moombah, with ever evolving sounds that move your very core, this insane Elysian Records release sets itself apart from the trap scene with Inception-esque hits and an ear-splitting bass that provides ample backing for the frantic and genuinely surprising drop that puts all others to shame.
SOPHIE – VYZEE
Woah. The intriguing and ever elusive producer SOPHIE delivers the latest single from his PRODUCT EP, a trippy treat that may just be one of the most distinctive and enticing adventures of the year. Sugary vocals form the crux of the tune, with spacy synths forming a perfect backing while an array of sounds complete the undeniably diverse nature of the tune. Good luck with trying to assign SOPHIE to a genre; pop this is not.
Hot Since 82 – Warnings
A feelgood beat and a half, this callback to the house classics of old is pulsing with endless energy and a joyous mood, as perfectly curated sounds complement a rhythm that is absolutely possible not to get you moving. Beautiful vocal cuts are tossed in to create the perfect summer callback track that is the very definition of groovy.
