It wouldn’t be a FromSoftware game without some wickedly annoying status effects, and Elden Ring is no different with players likely to often get poisoned across the Lands Between. Being poisoned in Elden Ring means that you take damage over time until the status effect wears off, or you die. That latter option isn’t the best, but luckily there are two ways of curing poison in Elden Ring.
The first way to get rid of poison in Elden Ring is to buy the Cure Poison incantation from Brother Corhyn (the guy with the wheel around his neck) at Roundtable Hold for 1000 runes. You will need a Sacred Seal (like the Clawmark Seal), 10 Faith, and 7 FP to cast Cure Poison in Elden Ring.
You can also buy Neutralizing Boluses from the Nomadic Merchant to the south-east of Coastal Cave for 600 runes, which will cure the status effect once used. You can also gain the ability to craft the Neutralizing Boluses by buying the cookbook from Kale at the Church of Elleh right at the start of the game.
On top of that, players can also put points into vigor to increase their poison resistance . There’s also the Immunizing Horn Charm from Ainsel River Well in the Lakes of Liurna that will help raise resistance against poison.
Trust us, you’re going to need any help against poison that you can get, especially if you’re going east. If you thought the Giant Poison Flower and Stillwater Cave fight against the Cleanrot Knight was bad, just you wait.
Elden Ring is available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X & S, and Xbox One.
