E3 2018: Ubisoft Announce 35 Million Rainbow Six Siege Players Since Launch

Siege Finka and Lion

Taking to the stage at E3 2018, Ubisoft announced that 35 million players have played Rainbow Six Siege since it launced. That’s a lot of team killing.

It’s a huge number considering the rough start the game had at launch, which has acted as the template for GaaS for Ubisoft’s next lineup of always online games. Say what you will about Siege, but there’s no doubt that its developers have worked hard to keep it relevant and already grow and expand on its playerbase.

Ubisoft also reminded players that Alibi and Maestro were playable right now and also hyped up the game’s eSports scene. If you haven’t played Siege yet, now’s probably the best time to jump in.
