E3 2018: Sony Reveal New Footage For Spider-Man

Spider-Man

We can’t believe we’re up this late again, but this new footage has made it all worth it. During Sony’s E3 Conference, new gameplay footage was revealed for Insomniac’s upcoming Spider-Man game which will be launching on September 7th for PS4.

The new footage demonstrates a prison riot in the legendary Marvel prison The Raft, along with a who’s who of Spider-Man’s rogues gallery, including Electro, Scorpion, Vulture, Mr Negative and Rhino. We also get a look at how Spider-Man will fight the many goons he’ll encounter. Spoiler alert: it kind of looks like Arkham, but we’re okay with that.

We also get an intense webswinging chase sequence with Electro that takes place on the outside of the Raft, with the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Guy narrowly dodging some intense electric blasts.

Things look bleak for the wallcrawler by the end of the trailer, before things end with the question of “…you?!” Who that person could be is unknown. We’re betting either Green Goblin or Miles Morales. It’s either going to be really good for Spidey, or really bad.
