E3 2018: EA Announce Command & Conquer: Rivals

Command & Conquer

Those of you who have been waiting for ages for a new Command & Conquer game will either want to break out the party poppers or sounds the “Red Alert”, as EA have announced Command & Conquer: Rivals, which is a mobile-only 1v1 game.

The new game will pit players against each other as they try to attack and defend their bases. The twist with this game is that you’re fighting for control of a nuclear launch facility. Taking over the site will launch a missile at your opponent’s base. Two successive launches will lead to victory, but it won’t lead to a new Red Alert game. Sorry people. Check out the CG trailer and live gameplay demonstration below.

From today, Android users can pre-register through Google Play to get access to the game when it goes live, whilst iOS users will have to pre-register via the game’s official website (http://www.cncrivals.com), which doesn’t appear to be live right now.
