Remaster fatigue has well and truly set in with me. It seems like any video game released over the past ten years has been given slightly better lighting effects and pushed out for another go on the cash bucking bronco, often to a series of patches and a damaged legacy.
For this, though, I think I can make an exception: a Bulletstorm remaster is happening and will include Duke Nukem as a playable character.

Bulletstorm is a criminally underrated FPS from the previous generation that blends a lot of ideas and bakes them into one big, ridiculous pie. It wasn’t exactly a sales success, despite being immeasurably fun to play, so perhaps this second bite of the cherry will bring the game to a whole new audience.
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will be released next year on current-gen consoles and PC.
