DOOM Eternal Playable At EGX 2019

"Why are you here?" Doom Eternal, bud.

DOOm Eternal

Gamer Network, the organisers of the annual EGX convention, have announced that DOOM Eternal will be playable at EGX 2019.

The sequel to 2016’s DOOM, Eternal will be powered by idTech 7 with Mick Gordon returning to rip and tear your earholes a new one with his score. Following the Earth’s near destruction thanks to the invasion of Hell, Doom Slayer has a few things to say about with his boomstick doing the talking.

Taking place from October 17th to 20th, those who attend EGX 2019 will be some of the first in the UK to get hands-on with the game. In addition, professional big man Simon Miller will be hosting DOOM Eternal: How To Train Like A DOOM Slayer to test fans to see if they can stack up to Doomguy himself.

EGX 2019 takes place at London’s ExCel arena, the event returning to the capital after years in Birmingham.

Tickets for EGX 2019 are available here. DOOM Eternal launches November 22nd for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and Stadia.
