Microsoft have announced that five games will be added to Xbox Game Pass over the next week and a half, one of which has already been announced in the form of DOOM Eternal. The news was announced via the below tweet.

In the official blog post, it was revealed that from October 1st, console and Android players through Cloud Gaming would be able to play DOOM Eternal, while PC players would have access to Drake Hollow. From October 8th, console players would be able to play Brutal Legend, and console and PC players would be able to play Ikenfell. Finally, on the same date, PC, console and Android players would be able to play Forza Motorsport 7.

What’s The Biggest Highlight From This Line-Up?

While DOOM Eternal is undoubtedly the biggest game to be included in Game Pass this October, it was already announced for the service so it’s not exactly the biggest news here. With that in mind, the biggest highlight here is Double Fine’s Brutal Legend.

A love letter to all things rock and metal, Brutal Legend sees Jack Black take on the role of Eddie Riggs, as he’s drawn into the fire-breathing, demon slaying world of metal. A mish-mash of genres, Brutal Legend combines open-world gameplay, driving, hack and slash combat and real-time strategy to create a game that’s unlike any other. If you haven’t checked it out yet, be sure to give it a whirl.
