Director of Pro Wrestlers VS Zombies Making A Film About The Kecksburg UFO Sightings

Director Cody Knotts is in pre-production for a film based on the Kecksburg UFO Sightings of 1965. The film’s Indiegogo campaign is in its last phase, with seven days left. So far, Knotts has raised about half of the $10,000 seed money he’s hoping to raise. The total budget for the film is expected to be over $400,000.

Knotts is best known for his modern cult classic Pro Wrestlers vs Zombies, which starred “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Shane Douglas, Matt Hardy, and many other wrestling personalities. While that movie was pure entertainment, Knotts hopes to make a difference with Kecksburg by exposing a government cover up and bringing tourist dollars to what many refer to as “Pennsylvania’s Roswell.” Props from the film are going to be donated to the Kecksburg Fire Department as the first pieces of a proposed museum.

There’s been no definitive explanation so far for the huge fireball that was seen careening across the Pennsylvania skies, which eventually crashed into the woods near the unincorporated town of Kecksburg. Besides alien spacecraft, various researchers and government officials have put forth varied explanations for the incident, such as a meteor crash, or errant spy satellites from the United States or Russia.

The story is definitely weird. How does one explain the massive military presence that night? And why did members of the Kecksburg Fire Department report seeing an acorn-shaped object with Egyptian-like hieroglyphics adorning it? Yes, strange stuff for sure, and no doubt the makings of an entertaining and informative movie.

The time left to contribute to the project is quickly ticking down. There are some cool perks, including one of these cute aliens, designed by high school students in Morgantown, West Virginia:
