Devolver Digital’s Lootboxcoin Can Actually Be Yours

Devolver

Devolver’s E3 presser was all kinds of things last night. A satirical look at the industry, a Robocop reboot, and even at some moment, a chance for them to showcase their games.

At one point, however, the indelible Nina Struthers debuted Devolver’s lootboxcoin: a product with absolutely no value or purpose whatsoever.

And it can be yours.

Head on over to the Devolver Digital store right now and you will find the coin crying out to become a part of your home. It does absolutely nothing, as its description will make you aware of:

Devolver lootboxcoin

“The officially unofficial Lootboxcoin from Devolver Digital as seen in the Devolver Digital 2018 E3 Press Conference. Please note that this coin is 2.5″ in diameter and has no actual value and by no means is to be considered cryptocurrency or a currency of any kind. You can’t buy anything with it. In fact, it’s insane for you to really buy it unless you want to prove your loyalty to Fork Parker, Nina Struthers, and the Devolver Digital executive board.”

Insane, or just frivolous? Well, if you have a lot of money that you can’t really be bothered to have anymore, it will set you back $150 at this time of writing. I say right now as the price has fluctuated for no discernible reason, much like cryptocurrency itself.

Don’t buy it. Or do. I don’t know. I just do not know. Maybe with the funds Devolver raise from the sale of the coin they can actually just make a new Robocop movie starring Nina. I’d watch that.
