Destiny 2 Finally Confirmed For PC

Destiny 2 PC

As popular as the original Destiny turned out to be across its multiple expansions and always updated content, it felt a little like Bungie had shot themselves in the foot by avoiding one of the biggest markets. Destiny always seemed destined for PC, but it stuck to consoles instead.

There have been rumblings that Destiny 2 would be arriving on PC and now it’s official. Check out the trailer for the game, which will be out on September 8th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, below.

The official description:

Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city’s Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home.

If you pre-order the game on any of the platforms, you gain access to the beta. If you don’t want to jump the gun (like a smart person) and actually see how the game looks and plays, there will be a livestream on May 18th.

Excited? I am curious about this: the original Destiny didn’t grab me at all for too many reasons to count. At least this one looks like it has a story. Plus, Nathan Fillion.
