Destiny 2 Console Beta Begins Today

Destiny 2, which is one of the most anticipated games of 2017, is now in closed beta for PS4 owners. Xbox players have to wait until tommorow the 19th to get early access to the game. It is a closed beta for those who pre-ordered the game, and this will end on July 20th. Open beta for every system (except PC) is scheduled to start on July 21st and will end on July 23rd. PC players will get their own beta in August, but no specific date has been announced.

What can you do in the beta?

The beta contains some interesting features like Homecoming, a set of missions made for 4 players. This set is a part of the original story of Destiny 2, which is full of promises and expectations. There is also two playable multiplayer modes : “Countdown” and “Control.” To play these modes, you will need an active Xbox Live Gold or Playstation Plus account to play, except for Homecoming which is open to everyone.

Destiny 2 is set to release on September 6th on PS4 and Xbox One, and on PC on October 24th. A limited edtion and a Collector’s edition is also available for pre-order.
