What Is Descenders?

Developed by Rage Squid, Descenders is a procedural downhill mountain biking game, where players take on a series randomly generated courses that can differ in terms of steepness, obstacles, jumps and so on, meaning that no two runs during the game’s Career Mode will ever play out the same way. Along the way, you’ll encounter bonus levels, challenges and the ability to unlock new skills and buffs for that run. Honestly, it’s a roguelike with pedals, which is actually much better than that oversimplified description makes it sounds.

Descenders is already available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with Xbox and PC users able to play the game as part of the their respective Game Pass subscriptions. It also featured in our underrated Xbox One games list to boot. If you’ve got Game Pass and you haven’t given Descenders a shot yet, be sure to give it a whirl. Just don’t be surprised if you find it hard to put down.
