Developer KeokeN Interactive and publisher Wired Productions have confirmed that the apocalyptic sci-fi game Deliver Us The Moon will land on PS4 and Xbox One on April 24th. A Switch version is pencilled in for this summer.

Available in either Standard or Deluxe editions, the latter will come with the soundtrack to the game alongside a 100 page digital artbook. The Deluxe Edition will set you back $29.99/€29.99/£24.99.

Here’s the synopsis:

Deliver Us The Moon is set in an apocalyptic near-future where the Earth’s resources have been depleted and humanity looks to the stars. Nations band together to create the World Space Agency – an organization tasked with solving the extreme energy crisis. The solution: colonization and exploitation of the moon’s natural reserves of Helium-3 to serve the energy needs of a growing Earth population. Suddenly, and without warning, communications with the Moon cease, and the energy source is lost. Plunged into darkness and without power, years pass as world governments come together once more to embark on a new mission – to re-establish the energy supply and with it hope for the human race.

And the accolades trailer for the game:

Deliver Us The Moon for Steam is currently sat on a 68/100 on Metacritic with many praising its atmosphere and story with criticisms mainly being given to its gameplay. Meanwhile, it currently has “Very Positive” reviews from players on Steam.

Deliver Us The Moon is the debut game from the Dutch KeokeN Interactive with Wired Productions previously publishing games such as Close to the Sun, AVICII Invector, and The Town of Light.
