For Dead By Daylight’s sixth anniversary, Behaviour Interactive have gone above and beyond to ensure fans have plenty to enjoy over the next few months. However, the most intriguing announcement from their anniversary broadcast was Hooked On You, a Dead By Daylight dating sim coming to Steam this summer. Behaviour collaborated with Psyop, the creators of I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator, to create Hooked On You. The visual novel sees players travelling to Murderer’s Island, looking to romance either The Huntress, The Spirit, The Trapper, and The Wraith. You’ll be able to choose who to romance and how you want to go about it. Maybe you’ll get lucky with one of the Killers, or you’ll end up on the chopping block yourself. Love is hard, after all.
Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships for Dead by Daylight, said the following about Hooked On You in a press release: ““You wanted it? You got it! Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim mixes horror, humor and romance to create a fresh way for fans to interact and create an emotional bond with their favorite Killers. Our goal with our first visual novel is to provide fans with a completely unique and surprising new way to experience the world of Dead by Daylight.”
Hooked On You will be launching on PC via Steam this summer, but there’s no confirmation yet that the visual novel will be coming to consoles. Either way, Hooked On You looks like it’ll be an amazing love letter to the fans of Dead By Daylight.
