Dante’s Inferno & R.U.S.E. Available Now On Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

Dante's Inferno

If you wanted to try and pick two video games that couldn’t have been more different, today’s additions to the Xbox One backwards compatibility line-up would probably be winning picks, alongside Tetris and Leisure Suit Larry. Major Nelson has taken to Twitter to announce the following games:

Dante’s Inferno was a flawed but enjoyable character action game similar to Bayonetta and Devil May Cry. Based on the classic Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, you control Dante as travels into the depths of Hell to rescue his love. If anything, it’s better than Agony. It had already been announced that it would be joining the EA Access Vault, but it’s now been confirmed that it’ll be added later this week.

R.U.S.E. was a real-time strategy game published by Ubisoft that, as the name would imply, focused more on the element of deception during war. Managing units and resources was still important, but often the winner would be decided by how you would be able to trick your opponent.
